What makes my approach unique?

 

I implement functional nutrition frameworks and lifestyle guidance that get to the root of your health issues. This approach is combined with grief support and emotional healing that allows you to connect with your body's wisdom and integrate your emotions.


Oftentimes, we carry unexpressed grief held in the body for years that keeps us feeling stuck. This plays a huge role in chronic health issues. Through my guidance and expertise, I bring compassionate presence to these stuck parts of you so you can develop greater rapport with your body's wisdom.

When provided the right environment, it creates a "healing state" to correct any imbalances and return to wellness.

It’s not just the food we eat that affects our health, however it's the food that feeds our spirit on a deeper level, too. For example, healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, physical activity, restorative sleep, and spiritual awareness are all vital forms of nourishment. When these nutritional and lifestyle foods are balanced, our health begins to thrive.  We are empowered to shift from "surviving" to thriving. I provide accountability and support to help you achieve your right balance back to thriving YOU.



Bio-Individuality™

The concept of bio-individuality is the idea that each of us has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and genetic background.

Crowding Out

Many nutrition experts give their clients a list of foods to avoid and foods to eat, which explains why counting calories and restricting foods doesn't work. My approach is different – by eating healthy and delicious foods, you will naturally have less room and desire for the unhealthy ones. Simply put, you “crowd out” the unhealthy food in your diet while "crowding in" healing nutrients.  This takes a little practice, however I will support you along the way.
