
Did you know that practicing gratitude invites JOY into our lives? Most people are well aware of that. However, let’s take it a step further. I’m not simply talking about being grateful for the things that are easy to love and identify with in our lives. For example, the nice house, a fabulous relationship, travel opportunities, and delicious food. Those are all wonderful things. However, I am speaking of going outside the box, and forming a different type of relationship with gratitude during this season of Covid-19. Cultivating the art of being grateful towards those areas in our lives that have caused the greatest challenge, and cracked us open during times of hardship. Through learning to shift our perspective on how we relate to these hardships is what holds the key for a deeper feeling of gratitude to spring forth, and transform our lives into joyful living.
